1. Operating Conditions & Challenges
Heavy Duty Mining Cab AC Ordinary vehicle air conditioners cannot adapt to severe mining environments:
- Extreme high temperature: Surface temperature can exceed 50℃ in summer, and the internal cab temperature may reach 60℃ due to greenhouse effect.
- Heavy dust & corrosion: Dense mine dust, coal dust and metal particles; sulfur and salt mist in some mining areas easily cause component blockage and corrosion.
- Severe vibration: Frequent bumping and impact during equipment operation require anti-vibration and anti-loosening structure.
- Voltage fluctuation: Unstable DC 24V/48V power supply with large start-stop impact.
- High safety requirements: Underground mining models need explosion-proof and gas-proof design, equipped with monitoring for oxygen deficiency and toxic gas.

2.1 Powerful Cooling & Heating
- Cooling capacity: 4–8kW (13,600–27,300 BTU). It can lower the cab temperature from 50℃ to below 26℃ within 30 minutes.
- Heating performance: Able to start normally at -30℃ for rapid defrosting and defogging.
- High-displacement compressor: Twin-rotor / scroll type, resistant to extreme temperature difference and liquid slugging.
2.2 Superior Protection & Sealing
- IP68 dustproof and waterproof: Fully sealed structure with three-stage filtration, allowing high-pressure water washing.
- Vibration resistance: Reinforced damping brackets, thickened housing and locking wiring harness, resisting vibration up to 5g.
- Anti-corrosion coating: Epoxy / polyurethane coating to resist acid, alkali and salt mist.
